Who We Are

Penny’s Passengers was started in hopes to fill a much needed service to our community. After my father passed away, I spent time with my mom helping her learn how to do things on her own again. One of the things that kept her going was time with her friends. We realized that not everyone had the ability to get where they needed to go when they wanted to go. Weather it was an individual appointment, a church picnic, or a sporting event, people need a way to get there. After my mom became ill, I spent time each week taking her to her appointments. This reminded me again, that not everyone had someone to take them to all their appointments. Getting where you need to go is important. Having the ability to stay independent is also important. After a lot of thought and prayer, we decided to begin Penny’s Passengers – named for my sweet mama. My family hopes that we can help you and your family in some way. Getting you safely to an appointment or event with friendly services is one small way we hope we can do that!
